本年报内容共分六部分，*部分为概述；第二部分是统计方法；第三部分是数据质量评价；第四、五部分为全国合计以及主要癌症的发病与死亡分析结果；第六部分是附录。2016年全国肿瘤登记中心收到全国347个肿瘤登记处上报的2013年肿瘤登记数据，通过对数据质量的综合审核，有255个登记处的数据入选本报告。汇总资料覆盖我国大陆2013年人口约2.27亿，包括88个城市地区（1.12亿人口） 和167个农村地区（1.15亿人口）。
本书可为从事肿瘤预防与控制的研究人员提供科学的基础性资料，亦可为肿瘤临床工作者提供参考。目　　录
